After recently being named #4 in the Top 10 Canada’s Best New Restaurants according to enRoute Magazine (and the ONLY Ottawa eatery to make the list) I had to check out Wellington’s Supply & Demand seafood & raw bar for myself. Their most celebrated dish, Albacore tuna crudo with lemon, truffle oil, puffed rice and cilantro is a work of art to the foodie’s eye, and more importantly, the meat is fresh, uniquely flavoured and perfectly portioned. The sea scallops with chicken skin and creme fraiche, the roasted beet salad and the muscles are also rich in flavour and beautifully presented. Wash your seafood down with a bloody caesar, garnished with spicy beans, chorizo sausage, and yes, a raw oyster.

The restaurant is not overly spacious and very popular so be prepared for limited availability and call well in advance.
