"Smoqued" tastes better.
For all you “Triple D” fans out there (Guy Fieri’s famous (and dangerous in my opinion) food network drool-fest Diners, Drive-ins and Dives), quit watching people enjoy great BBQ and experience the real thing at York Street’s increasingly popular “The Smoque Shack”. Whatever your protein preferance, (succulent bbq ribs, spicy jerk ‘smoqued’ chicken or juicy, tender-as-hell pulled pork) just make sure you pair it up properly. I would suggest the sweet and fluffy (and generously portioned) corn bread along with creamy coleslaw. You can also go big with poutine, mac ‘n’ cheese or even a side of beefy chilli which all come in an individual or shareable size. One thing is for certain that you may not have known before your first bite of pork at S.S…smoked BBQ definitely enhances flavour and leaves you wanting more. Unreal.
